  • Moderately Wet to Average Soils
  • Sun to Light Shade
  • 5’ tall, 24” to 36” spacing -taller in wet settings, spreads to form a patch
  • Late Summer to Fall Blooms
  • Ontario Native, Thrives Meadow and Wet Meadow Ecosystems and high moisture, open Woodlands

A very tall, very striking species that prefers high moisture settings and can overwhelm small spaces, these are good companions for other, equally bold species, including Joe-Pye-Weed and Giant Goldenrod.
