The Native Plant Store can Now be Found Here

  • This page will remain accessible as a library page until I have all the species moved to the new page and all the quirks worked out in the new software so it can function as a searchable library.
  • Please see the Using the Plant Library  page  for some tips on how to make the most of the information in this existing library to select species for creating a healthy native plant community suited to the conditions of your site.

Taenidia integerrima

  • Full sun to shade
  • Average to moderately dry soils
  • 36” tall, 12” to 18” wide

  • Ontario Native, Beginner Friendly. Thrives in woodland settings with dryer soils

New to me this year, grown from seeds sourced from Prairie Moon Nursery.

Highly recommend as a pollinator plant for dry, woodland edges. Is a host species for Black Swallowtail butterflies and a nectar source for many species. Their upright, airy form can add a lovely texture to mixed plantings.

Please check out the Prairie Moon listing at the link above for more details.
