Downy Wood Mint

  • Average to dry soils 
  • Full Sun to Partial Shade
  • 12” tall, 10” to 18” wide, spreads to form a patch
  • Early Summer Blooms
  • Ontario Native, Thrives in Meadow, Dry Meadow and Open Woodland Ecosystems

Still new to my gardens, grown from seeds sourced from Prairie Moon Nursery.

A very showy species that blooms in mid summer, grows to around 12” tall and spreads to form a patch. They are adapted to dry to average soils in sunny and partially shaded locations, unappealing to deer and very popular with pollinators.
