Verbena stricta, Hoary Vervain

Verbena stricta

Hoary Vervain

Still new to my gardens, grown from seeds from the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library

  • Full sun to light shade
  • Average to dry soils
  • 2' in height, 10' to 12" wide
  • Ontario Native, Dry Garden and Meadow Ecosystems

At just a couple of feet in height, this species is quite a bit smaller than Blue Vervain and is well suited to dry meadows and hot, sunny gardens.
