New to me, grown from seeds from Prairie Moon Nursery https://www.prairiemoon.com/glycyrrhiza-lepidota-wild-licorice-prairie-moon-nursery.html
This member of the legume family is named for the licorice scent of their roots. They become covered with creamy white blossoms in early summer that are followed by visually striking seed pods that dry to rusty brown and remain on the plants int the winter.
